340c Mahuta Road South, Mangatarata
Lester and Frances approached us to create a new dwelling that would blend into the their wild and natural environment. Fruit trees a plenty, alongside native bush and greenery which plays host to an abundance of bird life surrounding the home. All of which can be appreciated by opening the bifold doors wide and stepping onto the deck that overlooks the exquisite valley parallelling the property.
With features such as exposed concrete floors and textured wallpaper, the house both plays off the elements and leaves them to their own. Attention to detail with HardieGroove lining has been used around the house, with negative detail outlining the panels and the exposed floor. Hardwood duckboards have been custom made for the showers
Colour Steel Exterior Cladding has been used to create a uniqueness and aid in blending into the surrounding native bush.
With library and weaving room in toe, Lester and Frances have created the perfect oasis to both embrace and seek comfort from the elements.
